Face in the Beans Optical Illusion
According to Mr. Peabody it takes the average person 10 X 1.618 seconds to discover the face in the beans below.
The image below "Sweet caffeine" is from the "Subtle Changes 2" photoshop contest on Worth1000. Can you find the face hiding in the beans? Just like every illusion of this type once you find the face you will always see the face..

Answer to the double bonus:
There isn't a great mind bending optical illusion in the Mr. Peabody and Sherman picture above. There is however an effect that could make one think that this image is floating above the background.
Compare the Peabody & Sherman picture with the face in the beans picture. What effect does one image have that the other lacks? That's correct the Peabody image has a drop shadow that gives it a sense of depth.
What..... you scoff, that isn't an illusion at all. How can a simple shadow be called an illusion? What would happen if we varied the shadow, increasing and decreasing its size, would it have an illusion effect then? Check out this post and then tell me that a simple shadow isn't worthy of the title of optical illusion.

The Fat Face Thin Upside Down Illusion
Maybe you know that faces are more difficult to recognize when they’re upside-down and that sometimes we misperceived the facial expressions of upside-down faces .
But Peter Thompson , from the University of York (UK) discovered an amazing optical illusion !
We can name it The Fat Face Thin illusion. Your assignment is to compare the upside-down face on the left of the lower figure with the upright face on the right. Have you noticed how the upside-down version looks much thinner?! Moreover it appears longer shaped than the upright version. Of course, there is no need to mention how both pictures are identical. This illusion illustrates the internal features of the face (eyes, nose, mouth) can distort our perception of face shape.

Hollow Face Illusion
This is quite a well known illusion. Basically, a hollow mould taken from a face actually appears to be a three dimensional convex face, even though it is actually concave.
Tim has got hold of this amazing hollow face of Richard Gregory, Professor of Illusions at Bristol University, which he demonstrates in the video. It is twice life size, and has been painted as well.
The Hollow Face Illusion is also demonstrated in the Einstein Mask, and also by the Dragon Illusion.

Face or a Tree illusion
Is it a Tree or a face of a person? It is Definitely a Tree. what do you thinks it is man made or Nature made? The tree has had its branches shaped so that it resembles a face. It makes an interesting picture and makes you wonder what this tree would look like with leaves on it. and i m confused about the face i probably think it is a face of David Duchovny but i m not sure, if any body know then let me know
